MURDER BY CHICKEN
A comedy by Lee H. Adams
Fast talking gangsters with their belts up to their chests An upper crust, dysfunctional British family on the verge of ruin. A persnickety french butler. A hard drinking, trash-talking grandmother... all have come to hear famous scientist and author Sir Wensersmith Flippenshire read from his new, as-yet unpublished, bombshell of a book, "The Chicken and the Egg." It has been reported that Sir Flippenshire has discovered which came first! There is a problem however... He shows up dead, and the manuscript is missing. Hilarity ensues as ten suspects (played by five frantic actors) stumble to beat each other to the valuable discovery of the age old secret. A discovery worth millions... and worth killing for.
Graydon Royce of the Minneapolis Star Tribune says Mystery Café is “...a good time at a highly polished show,” featuring “...a cast that does better work than much that I’ve seen at high art venues.”
Murder By Chicken was written by Lee Adams, internationally-produced author of dozens of interactive comedies over the past two decades. Opening December 1 of this year and running through January 2012, the show features many audience favorites from past shows such as Let’s Kill The Boss, Who Wants to Kill a Millionaire, Murder For Dummies, and American Homicidal. These professional actors are highly skilled at performing in our particular brand of interactive theater, where the audience comes first, we don’t insult anyone, make anyone get up
and dance, and we’re all on the same team, working together to have a FANTASTIC experience centered around great comedy and great food. Join us!
